What's that rule on when you can date younger? Half your age plus seven? So, David's 37, so, according to the rule he can date someone who is 25.5.
What's Georgia? 23? Yup. I'm kinda icked a bit by this. But I'm really more curious about what Georgia's Daddy thinks (which we'll probably never hear). |

I'm 37 (just a few weeks younger than DT), and dating a 23-yr-old sounds cool to me. If it didn't kill me, that is.  I say let Dr. Hottie/Pretty use it whilst he's got it!

Agreed, rocko. If I was at the top of my game living a lifelong geek dream of playing the Doctor whilst getting to bang the 5th Doctor's incredibly delicious real-life spawn, I'd be pretty happy with myself, too. David's the man. Deal people. It's not like she's 17. People grow up a hell of a lot between 18 and 23. Well, maybe not everyone. I'm 29, and clearly, there's little hope left for me. lol  |

I think I'm just trying to picture myself at 23 dating a guy 37..... nope. Can't see it - I thought guys of 30 were too old then (ah, back in the good old days). OF COURSE, if Sean Connery had stopped by (who is old enough to be my granddad) an exception would have been made! (please, no comments on my love of the best James Bond!). |

But she already has a 5 year old child and has been acting a while - so she's quite a mature 23.
Heck - I'm an old man but until a year or so ago - before she got married and was expecting - I was waiting for Jessica Alba to ask me out :-)
Having said that I still think Wendy Padbury looks hot and she's a similar age to me.
You either have it or you don't - or can't remember if you did have it or not in my case.

LOL, Dave. Maybe Alba's new marriage will implode soon - don't lose hope yet. You know those Hollywood types... 
Valid points, too, mad4plaid - but age means different things to different people. I, for one, find many older women perfectly attractive for their age when it's clear they've taken more than proper care of themselves over the years. Hell, Liz Sladen is old enough to be my mom now - but I'd still go there - and in a heartbeat (it's a lovebeat). lol
Like Dave said, Georgia's grown up pretty quickly for her age. The thing that seems most evident out of all this is Tennant's affinity for pixie-blondes - he's now 2/2 in a row. Maybe he and Billie are next... lol
And sgb1975 was right - this thread is out-of-control. In a fun way, though. |
