That's the trouble with age - or ageing - I think I'm turning into Michael Douglas!
Not in looks but in choices

Well she's too young for him if you do the 37 divided by 2 + 7 equation I always go by but the important thing here is:
David Likes Blondes (check!)
He's not adverse to dating girls with "Beth" in their name (check!)
So clearly there is hope for yours truly. fhfheheheh in my dreams!!!!! |

Well, there were rumors that Woody Allen would be in the next Christmas special. If so, the Doctor could ask him
for tips on marrying your own daughter (Dotr as my little girl spelt is last year)
BTW my "Nom De Forum" comes from my Dotr's friend who many years ago talked about "Doctor Whoovie and the Garlics". |

I think I'm just trying to picture myself at 23 dating a guy 37..... nope. Can't see it - I thought guys of 30 were too old then (ah, back in the good old days). OF COURSE, if Sean Connery had stopped by (who is old enough to be my granddad) an exception would have been made! (please, no comments on my love of the best James Bond!). |
|
In spite of what I said before, if my daughter at age 23 wanted to date a 37-yr-old it would be a totally DIFFERENT story.... (unless he was also playing the Doctor- that might tip the scales in his favor! ) |

Did you say "74,384,338 to 1 against"? That's my lucky number!

I remember thinking the 30 year old guys that'd try to pick us up at the pubs in college were SO OLD! They wore TROUSERS not jeans - and button up shirts and had JOBS in boring areas like IT and insurance... ughhh!!!
Now that I'm 29 a 30+ year old guy with a stable job in IT or insurance who is a tidy dresser doesn't seem all that bad and hey - have tardis? will travel! |

This puts the whole phrase,
"Who's your daddy?"
in whole new light in more ways than one!

When I was 24 I was engaged to a man who was 34 and at the time I thought he was all that and a bag of chips. The dude STILL wasn't as mature as me with a ten year gap.
I just don't see the problem with the age difference? |

Well if she has a kid she's had a lot of life experience and that's probably the biggest cause of differences in couples.
Ah, sure! Bless 'em.
I've never dated a younger man and I'm not sure I will until I hit my second wind in my 40's and start dating up a storm like Samantha in Sex in the City |
