It doesn't make a difference. The rules were set strictly to prevent any risk of commercial broadcasters in other countries complaining about unfair advantage.

[Quote by: General_Chris] [Quote by: Dr. Hoo] Here's another thought too. Not sure how this fits in, but since this is possibly a Dickensesque themed Christmas, could Charles Dickens himself have left notes, anecdotes, etc. somewhere about his meeting with the Doctor and Rose that caused whatever it was we just saw to come to fruition?
I don't remember the year of 'The Unquiet Dead' so this may take place before it, but just a thought. Something is fishy for sure! |

The Unquiet Dead: 1869
The Next Doctor: December 24, 1851
Though the dates dont lend themselves to this theory, this is a brlliant thought. Way to think out of the box!
----
I will give Morrissey this; the one time I can believe him as the Doctor is when both Doctors are leaning forward and the doors burst open and they jump back and Morrissey says, "Oh, thats new." The way in which he says it is very "Doctor-ish".
The more you watch this clip the more things scream that it isnt real. Things dont add up. The New Doctor's bravado and overacting. The casual spilling of 'Doctor Info'. And New Doctor asks for his sonic screwdriver to receive a regular one. Then the cyber'creature' pops out and he points it like its going to really work.
I've also been crossing the 2:22 intro with this trailer to try and think of things.

This image from that trailer has me perplexed. Those some kind of weapon? Hmm..

Upon viewing this trailer, it seems that, being a hoax, the 'fake?' Doctor is then put up against the Cybermen and obviously cant handle it and skulks away. Enter our lovable Tenth Doctor, bringing out the hero in the cowardly Morrissey, big fanfare, both saving the day, they then respect each other and go their separate ways, but right near the end, a plot twist. Maybe Tenth sees the other's TARDIS de-materialise etc etc.

While I haven’t read the “One Doctor” I feel the plot will be very similar to the Music Man. I agree with everything you’ve said but this last part…

{pendantic mode} The One Doctor was a Big Finish audio play whose script hasn't been published yet, so very few people have actually had the opportunity to read it. {/pendantic mode} |

| The odd thing is, if David Morrissey is a successor Doctor, then why didn't he imediately recognize his earlier self, such as in Time-Crash? |

Well, I don't think that he is really "the" Doctor in this story despite his boasting as such.
He still could be a future Doctor, just as Colin Baker was on the series playing another role opposite of Peter Davison's Doctor before he took on the role of the 6th Doctor.
Cheers,

OK. ive watched the BBC 2Coming at Christmas" thing and done 2 screen grabs for us to chat about.
HOWEVER.
the Radio times does have out "11" holding a rather familiour watch... which re enforces my thought that its not just based on the One Doctor but also on the Hell Fire story that BF did...
ALSO the Wraith has Human Hands!
Morresy seems to be in pain... ie remembering his ISNT who he thinks he is...
all open for debate...

As much as I'd love to have David Morrissey as Eleven, I can't see how it's going to happen, even with a fob watch, because Morrissey's Doctor doesn't recognise the Tenth Doctor.
And surely if he were a future incarnation, he would remember what he looked like in the past. |

bye bye david :(
