I, on the other hand, loved it. An enjoyable, pacy adventure. Not sure if this is the place to write down all my ideas as this thread has no spoiler tags. Anyway it looked good and was exciting and I'd definitely sit through it again.

I enjoyed the story. I would say it was good but not great. It was certainly a good fix of "Who" during a year when we don't have a proper season. It's my understanding that the next special will be darker, which I think will be good.

Great performance by David Tennant. Michelle Ryan was good as well. It would have been nice if she had gotten one trip in the TARDIS.

Well going into it I had LOW expectations so I guess that colors my view of it: it wasn't as bad as say JOURNEY'S END or NEXT DOCTOR and was just okay. Mediocre, not terrible. I posted a longer review in the spoiler section. Somehow I agree that the specials don't do it for DW and that , well, I felt like I was watching CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG at one point or TREMORS and PITCH BLACK at another point and then I thought about how PRIMEVAL has done the wormhole thing already.

The wormhole idea certainly isn't new, but Primeval definitely wasn't the first to use it.
