    Anyone else heard these yet?

I just got my copies in yesterday, and thus far am about halfway through "The Stone Rose." I must say, I'm really enjoying it. All the little voice inflections he does for each character (Rose, Mickey, Jackie, etc.) as well as other background supporting roles and characters is just fantastic. He really pulls it off!

And it's so surreal to hear him fluctuate back and forth between his Scottish accent whilst narrating and then his "Doctor" voice when speaking the part so seamlessly. Can't wait to finish this one and dive right into another (I think I'm going to partake in "The Resurrection Casket" next).

I HIGHLY recommend these to anyone going through Series 2 withdrawals as of now. I'd wanted to pick up the novels themselves initially, but then thought I'd wait and give these a shot once seeing that Tennant was going to read them for the audio versions. It's definitely worth it!

And I've no doubt that some repeated listens of these should help 'X-mas get here much sooner than later!

Once WhoNA gets them here in the States, I'll probably pick them up... perfect companions for my weekend jaunts into the hills.

I'm listening to The Feast of the Drowned now. David's lighted up his brogue just a bit, but I do love how it allows him to switch from narrator to the Doctor. I was listening on the train this morning when "Mickey" started speaking -- hokey smokes! David has that dialect down perfectly!

I have listened to all three of these and the inflections are great.
The stories can be a little confusing and require some concentration on behalf of the listener. but all in all good fun!

The interviews with the authors are a little repetitive

I've only listened to the Resurrection Casket so far, but it was a great listen. However, having read the book previously, I thought that it could do with being unabridged - but that's a small criticism. Tennant is excellent as narrator.

I haven't read the books yet, just listened to the audio. I'm disappointed to learn that they are abridged. But that may explain why it only takes me three train rides to hear the entire story (& my train rides are quite short!)

They sold out pretty quickly on Who North America, before I had a chance to order unfortunately. Hopefully he'll get more copies in soon.

    Unabridged!

How long do you want poor David Tennant locked in a little recording booth for? The lad has practically spent every day of the last 18 months playing the Doctor.

Mind you he is good at it.

I just listened to The Feast of the Drowned - I found the story so-so but wow - David Tennant has such a dynamic voice, he's a real treat to listen to. He could probably make the yellow pages sound interesting.

You can download some of these audios (legally) at audible.com for reasonable money. They have several Doctor Who audios (but none of the BFA's) that you can download for a price.

I'm not trying to sound like a free ad for audible.com...but their Tennant audios are on sale for about $8.50 each right now. Can't go wrong for that price when you are trying to download legally.

They're also available on iTunes, though the price is currently $10.95. Still, I think, but am not sure, that the audio quality is better than what audible.com offers. Could be wrong in this specific instance, but I know that's been true of other audible downloads I've done before.

Had a little look around at this site - the Tennant audios - at least for a non-member were 10 dollars.

Also in the help pages about 'Audible' it doesn't say about payment methods.

Can you use PayPal which I already have set up?
