BBC's home page for Doctor Who, has changed its landing page again (as it did prior to each episode). Now, it's all about the best moment of the 2006 season. The top "moments"/scenes will be put on their video page for us to enjoy for the drought between now and the new series.

I clicked Sarah Jane's reunion with the Doctor. This moment actually made the heart strings pull for me; very poignent. |

I too voted for that moment, but would also like to have voted for "shooty dog" "Killer Xmas Tree", "Toby's possesion" and "Party Attack"

On a similar yet opposite theme, my favourite out of the choices was Goodbye Sarah Jane.
The one I think I would have voted for if it had been included was the one bit of Girl in the Fireplace that wasn't mentioned, which was the Doctor's final departure and the accompanying music. It's the one part of that episode that I have watched over and over again.
I'm pretty confident that Louis's vote will be the Monster Doors clip from Love & Monsters. |

I also chose "Sarah Meets the Doctor" (currently with 5.8% of all votes). Somehow, "the Sphere Opens" from Army of Ghosts is in the lead with 20%. Personally, I would have liked "Aw- blood control! I haven't seen that in years!".

Did you say "74,384,338 to 1 against"? That's my lucky number!

Tee hee. Thanks for giving me a good giggle, Abersoch.
I, too, would have voted for the last scene of Girl in the Fireplace had it been there. As it was, I chose Sarah meets Doctor. But in my memory, it's not that smily-faced Srah. It's that moment when she sees the Tardis, then turns around and spots him. Still gives me goosebumps just thinking about it. As Tennant might say, "Brilliant!" |

That's exactly the moment I'm thinking of as well. |

My most memorable scene wasn't even listed - the part where all hope is lost at the bottom of the pit and then TA-DAH! The Tardis appears and the day is saved. That and the final scene in Doomsday between The Doctor and Rose, which made me cry. But then, I also get misty during Hallmark Card advertisements. I wound up voting for the HORSE of all things - jumping through the glass, because it really annoyed me that The Doctor would abandon Mickey and Rose to starve on that ship (since they couldn't run the Tardis) all for the sake of an attractive woman. So, that definately stuck in my head.

| I suppose one of my other favorite moments that was not listed was during "The Impossible Planet" when the Doctor is contemplating the pit. "G'down g'down g'down..." |

| I'm onboard with those who think the moment Sarah realizes who the Doctor is. That gave me goosebumps as well, and for some odd reason I had something in my eye. |

You think that the Doctor would still have that food dispenser from the Hartnell era somewhere in the TARDIS? |
