According to Digital Spy:-
here
Freema Agyeman requested an.....
on screen kiss with Dr Who as part of her contract.
Don't know quite why - and not sure it's a good idea as the Doctor and Rose had a 'special' relationship that I can't see him being too quick to repeat.
Cheers, daveac

| "Billie is a hard act to follow but David couldn't have been more friendly." hahahaha I bet he was, lol! And I can't fault Freema for asking! |

If Worzel Gummidge and the Third Doctor had a fist fight - who would win?

...and did you see Billie Piper's reaction as quoted by that digital spy website?
"Doctor Who magazine had the new girl on the cover," Billie is quoted by the Daily Star as saying. "I threw it across the room when I saw it. I wanted to scratch both her eyes out. It's like seeing your ex's new girlfriend!"
Oh dear haha I couldn't blame her either! Heck I'm jealous and it's all pretend! |

wow... and SHE was the one who wanted out of the relationship... kind of like little boys who don't want their toys anymore -- until some other kid wants to play with them. |

Hehe
I'd take all of those stories (that and the Freema one) with a huge pinch of salt. I imagine that (assuming both stories they weren't just completely made up) the comments were made by the actresses in jest. Next we'll be hearing that Billie Piper visited the set to see her old pal David during the filming of Season 3 and ended up having a hair-pulling fight with Freema on set. |

Comments made in jest being published in a respectable rag? surely you... jest Does this mean I have to explain that my comments were made in jest, too? |

Heh... had many relationships break up, Mad? That sounds just about par for the course, even for the one doing the breaking up. Seeing the ex get on so quickly with someone else - throwing the magazine across the room is the least horrid thing she'd do.
:-D

I'm reminded of that song - "Don't advertise your man!" For some ladies there's no aphrodisiac more potent than seeing someone else's interest in your bit of scruff
I do think that if there's going to be romance in the show I'd rather see it between two companions rather than this Doctor playing serial monogamist all the time. As much as I enjoyed watching Rose/Doctor chemistry there is such a thing as too much of a good thing.
