It looks like the BBC has been getting many complaints about the squeeze they put on the end credits of its programs.

I've always hated the credits being crunched down on the screen - especially in the US. There are many times that I thought I recognized an actor (or actress) in the show and when they are reduced in size like that I can't read the credits and find out if it who I thought it was, because it was too small to read.

The current season (series 4) I have been downloading the episodes for viewing and I can finally tell who is who on the episode because the credits cover the screen and I can actually read them.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that I hate the adverts for other shows taking up the quarter bottom of the screen on tv when the show is going (I'm talking to you Sci-Fi channel). It's just distracting and I make it a point to MISS the advertised show because of that.

Another bone I have to pick with the Sci-Fi channel is the commercials - the show was not made to have commercial breaks in it but in the US commercials are added and it breaks up the rhythym of the show.

I got it from the avatars given from the BBC Doctor Who pages. I've been using it for several months on Yahoo Answers (I'm BAKED GOODS there).

Here is the link for the avatars:

(I haven't figured out how to make it work on here, yet)

That was before I knew this web site existed (a couple of weeks ago).
