| For me Pyramids. As for as I am concerned, Sarah Jane over everybody. |

These two episodes are both in my top 10, or even top 5. But Pyramids of Mars overtakes Robots of Death.

| Pyramids of Mars has to win this comparison, however my favorite Leela stories (the Talons of Weng Chiang and the Horror of Fang Rock) beat both. Talons is my favorite classic story of all time, I think (and suprisingly there's not a Dalek to be seen). |

As far as I'm concerned they are both equal.
"Robots of Death" had some of the most beautiful viillans the show has ever seen - but that is my opinion.
In the meantime "Pyramids of Mars" had the most dangerous god/demi-god that was part of the series. Who can forget ther scene where the "Doctor" takes Sarah Jane to her time without defeating Sutekh - a bleak and dismal Earth.
I can't choose between the two stories - it's just too difficult! They are my two of my "most favorite" stories. |

Well, "Robots" is actually one of my least favorite Leela stories, and a generally overrated one in the pantheon of all stories. "Pyramids" by a mile, then.
I'd find it much harder comparing "Pyramids" with "Sunmakers", which is by far the best Leela story of them all. And I don't think "Pyramids" is necessarily Sarah's high water mark either.
All round, kind of a random choice of episodes for comparison, really. Not sure I see the basis. Is this an attempt to see how each companion measured up against an expressionless robot or something? |
