Including Heroes and Star Trek actor George Takei

I hate reality shows. But I do have a soft spot for I'm A Celeb... It's a show that takes some people with no talent, who are somehow in the public eye and sticks them in 'Romana's Jungle'!
Imho, that is the best line-up they've had. Just for Sc-Fi and Cult Tv's sake, I hope GT wins! But nothing can be funnier than the Paul Burrell bushtuker trials, in 2004!  |

This could be the show he is doing in which its shooting schedule is conflicting with the New England Fan Experience dates that caused him to bow out of his appearance there.

I am sorry to hear this on at least two levels.
1) He wont be at the Con for Louis to meet.
2) IACGMOOH is a car crash of a show that exisits to clog up the network and distract people from their real lives.
its awful.
why an elderly gent like this would do it.. apart from the cash.. which is paid in OZ dollars which they tax you before you leave the country! is BAD!... bad...

Since I avoid "reality TV" whenever possible, I didn't even know what this show was about nor had I even heard of it until Tim Drury explained it to me briefly via Twitter.
I was looking forward to seeing George Takei at NEFE as it would have been a bit of a reunion being the last time I interviewed Peter Davison was at the same event where I last interviewed George Takei some 22 years ago. Having them both at the same event again, well it would have been nostalgic.

I cant see this being true at all.
The show is watched by Millions upon Millions in the UK. its Huge. and I find that an embarrassment to admit.
pulls in Doctor Who like viewing figures. |

"i'm a celeb" was getting between 6 and 9.5 million bums on seats.
I know that doesn't compare with all of WHO but its still a large UK audience.
I am not defending it as I can't stand to see even a clip of the show... even If I am from the same town as Ant And Dec...
BUT I have series 4 of NuHU on dvd to watch so I'm happy. |
