Well I am back home this week. To gear everyone up for the upcoming Spider-Man 3 movie I thought I would do a special DVD review. This week I tackle the Spider-man The '67 Collection DVD set and talk about the series that was and introduceda whole generation to our favourite web-slinger from the 60's. Well after a week off I am back with another podcast for you all to enjoy. First up you get an update from me and an audio book review of Nature Girl by Carl Hiassen as we once again journey to South Florida and find out where a little revenge can lead. Then in the guest segement we catch up with a previosu guest to the podcast, Martin Johnson, who is busy composing the music to the upcoming stage play of the Dalek Masterplan which will take place in England this fall. We talk about the challenges of bringing yet anotehr classic Doctor Who story to the theatre. Here we go folks another fresh podcast for you to enjoy. First up is my audio book review of the thriller Beachcomber by Karen Robards as a young female lawyer gets stuck between the mob and serial killer. Then to start off the summer movie season I give my take on Spider-Man 3 that started in theatres across North America last weekend. In addition to hearing what I though about the latest web-swinging adventure you will also find out one of my biggest pet peeves of going to see a movie in a theatre. Here it is folks another special On the Road edition of the podcast. This week I make a short trip ot the town of Lindsay for the 150th Charter Day Celebration. I take you through what it is like to attend such an event and speak with organizer Andy Letham, the mayor of Lindsay, Ric McGee and his wife Caroline and local town crier Bill McKee on the show. You will also get my impressions of the eventand get to hear music preform by the band Flashback who played for thw whole day. Here it is folks as promised my Transformers Special hot off the podcasting grill. On this weeks show I will discuss the original run of the 80's animated cartoon show which will lead into my DVD review of Transformers : The Movie : 20th Anniversary Edition which feautred the Autobots and Decepticons in thier first big screen appearance and the impact it had and what extras you will find on the DVD. Then it is off the movies as Rob joins me once again and we review the movie Transformers that is playing at a theatre near you. It is a movie review with a difference as Rob enjoys having his own mic and gives anotehr unique way of rating this movie. Okay folks I have been slacking, here is a double update for my podcast
In last week's show we spotlight murder and music. First off it is back to the shores of Paradise Cove as we explore another murder mystery in the audio book review of High Profile by Robert B. Parker as Jesse Stone is once again on the search for a killer. Then it is off to the grocery store as we chat with pianist Anne Meehan who plays music as you shop for food.
