Hey Josh, Good to meet you at Gallifrey. I was the third guy at the table with Ken and Louis ( I mention that because who can remember when there's alcohol involved.)
The thing we have to do next year is schedule a specific time that all the Podshock listeners meet at the Champions bar for a meet and greet. That would be fun.

| Yeah I cant wait til next Gallifrey. Right now here on the east coast the next Doctor Who event we have to look forward to is Jumpcon in Boston on July 18th. Frazier Hines (Is he the Phantom Piper?), Mary Tamm, and Debra Watling will be there. Wow! --Billy |

It's nice to see even more new members to the Forums - don't be shy - this thread is here to welcome you.
And if you didn't already know - try to tune into the LIVE podcast - DR Who Podshock that is open to all.
Usually at 12 noon EDT - but we are covering the Series 4 episodes the day after they have airred in the UK
- so there will be spoilers if you haven't yet watched the story.

I guess this should have been my first stop-off to post, but oh well. Anyway, I'm Beksy (that's close enough to my real name, thanks), I've been listening to Dr. Who Podshock for a month or so while I commute to and from work, and Romana's probably my favorite reviewer (sorry boys!). When it comes to fannish stuff (non-plot related observations), she tends to say a lot of what I'm thinking.
I've been a Doctor Who fan for about four years (five, if you count the fact that I did watch the movie and the Eighth Doctor was my first Doctor). I was perfectly happy to watch the Sci-Fi network airings until I realized the BBC airings are dramatically earlier in the year. Those episodes are much longer and much better (thank you, Psychic Network!).
I'm still learning the board's particulars, and I'm having lots of fun.
Can't wait for the Round-Up! |
