As for which characters from Doctor Who are just begging for a Big Finish appearance, there are only two names on my list: Izzy and Destrii. Dramatize the Eighth Doctor comics, I say |

Once the new 2007 series comes to a close, we will conclude the episode review polls. At that time, we can use some of the poll suggestions already posted here and any others forthcoming. I do appreciate your input, as always.

With the coming of the full "Infinite Quest" next Saturday, we might want a simple story rating poll on the whole thing, posted at the same time you put up the poll for "The Last of the Time Lords".
I'd be interested in seeing a "Which is your favorite RTD series poll" as well, sometime in the next few weeks. |

Great idea. Let's do it. Though, unfortunately judging from the responses from the last poll concerning The Infinite Quest it seems a good deal of people are still unfamiliar with it and/or have not seen it yet.

Favorite RTD series? Meaning either the 2005 ("series 1"), or 2006 ("series 2"), etc.? Right? Just making sure you didn't mean stories or his other series (non-DW series).
Yep, that would be another interesting one. Thanks.

Caught the second half of this today - and it was pretty good - and Anthony Head was it it as well which I hadn't realised before.
I think I saw enough to vote.
I think it will be repeated 8th July on CBBC (Childrens BBC) - but check nearer the time.
Cheers, daveac

| Daveac, try googling "tv links". You might find a site that will let you see the whole Infinite Quest series if you root about a bit. |

| Now that the Infinite Quest has finished and the Omnibus editions has been distributed on the FEDEX red eye flights, how about ranking it? |

Yes. We are reviewing it as well in this week's live podcast. I believe DarthSkeptical suggested we do a poll as well. Expect it soon.

See we have which is the best RTD series Poll. How about a which is the worst (I bet the answers are not the reverse order of the "best: poll).
Additionally, how about who is the most annoying companion of tthe RTD series: Mickey, Martha, Donna (Kabab), Jackie, Francine Jones. I don't think we need to bother putting Rose in there. |

Now that you bring it up, it is interesting. I find myself struggling a bit deciding which series I like the best so far, but I have no problem picking which I like the least so far.

No, I don't mind. It probably will come to no surprise to some, but the series I like the least would be the 2006 (AKA "Series 2") so far. It had some real outstanding and enjoyable stories for sure... but I feel it is the most inconsistent of the three so far... because it had a couple in it that completely make me cringe when I think about them. The highs were very high, and the lows very low.
Ironically, it does not mean that I am completely ruling it out of consideration for my favourite series as well... Yes, I realize that sounds a bit like a oxymoron thing to say... I still want to rewatch some of the stories in that series as well as this past series to really compare the three series so far.
Cheers,

I can certainly understand your feelings on Season 2. Images of kung-fu monks (Tooth and Claw), olympic torches (Fear Her), and Electric Light Orchestra (Love and Monsters) still have me shaking my head in disbelief. Nevertheless, I don't know if the series has had a lower point than the daleks hobnobbing with the cast of a Busby Berkeley picture nor a more frustrating episode than Last of the Time Lords. |

Hey Guys,
We had no polls for a while, I guess Hurt/Heal has replaced it. How about a Tardis groan ranking series for the Ninth Doctor Stories, since that is the only series of the revived show which was never.
Alternatively how about ranking the weekly 8th Doctor episodes coming out of Big Finish at the Moment. I'd give Orbis about a 3/5 groans.
Louis, you should check out Orbis as there is a good one liner to add to your Sonic Newsdriver Promo.

Good ideas... Obviously, we will have a new poll this time next week to rate Doctor Who: Planet of the Dead. Then we have no new televised stories until December, so in that long gap we can do polls such as rating the 9th Doctor stories and other poll suggestions. Keep them coming.
Cheers,
Louis |
