old china suggested we start a BBC7 thread.
Well here it is:-
And to start - and you will have to be quick - is
Methuselah's Children
Paul Birchard reads Robert A Heinlein's sci-fi novel about a group of families who can live for several hundred years. Episode 1 of 6. (6.30pm and 12.30am)
Episode 1 was broadcast on Thursday 22nd Nov - but I'm just catching it now.
So today is the last chance to catch episode 1 - and this is using GMT - so maybe 6 or 7pm (EST)
Cheers - sorry for the short heads up - daveac

Just found this on the Sci-Fi site that a new film is being made of this story:-
'Will Smith, who plays the last man on Earth in the upcoming SF movie I Am Legend, told reporters that he researched the lives of prisoners of war and convicts in solitary confinement to get into the mindset of an isolated, lonely man.'
here
EDIT - it appears to be openning in two days - 14th Dec

If I remember correctly, these were on the SciFi.co.uk site, and I just recently got the 4CD box set.
OK, just checked. UK residents should be able to listen online at www.scifi.co.uk/blakes7. I can't confirm, as I get the "not available in your country" screen.
