What? No comments on the new Knight Rider? Ok, I completely forgot it was even being made. I just happened to stumble on it at my other means source. I have to admit. I'm going to watch it. I was a huge Knight Rider fan when I was a kid.
I'm going "Full Circle" and putting my avatar back to what it was when I first joined. :)

Me too, I used to follow them all, I liked that Knight Rider 2000 movie although I found that Team Knight Rider very shit!
This looks promising, but maybe i'm biased because i lurve Mustangs!
I don't know why William Daniels isn't returning to do the voice of the new KITT, but I recall reading somewhere that the newer voices (including Val Kilmer) didn't bring as much "humanity" to the character of KITT.
Pop Quiz:
What was the name of KITT's "evil twin"?
What was the name of the evil super truck?

As a kid in the mid-80s, I was a huge Knight Rider fan just like everyone else, and I'd love to give the show another chance to re-invent itself (a la Doctor Who, Battlestar Galactica, etc...) But when I heard William Daniels isn't the voice of the new KITT, I just totally completely lost interest. I can deal with a new main character to replace David Hasselhoff, but there's no reason to have a new KITT voice. They were able to get Peter Cullen to reprise his Optimus Prime role in the Transformers movie from last year, so why couldn't they get Daniels to do KITT?
The new Knight Rider was rubbish. Poor script, terrible acting, and little to no action. I mean really... if you're going to do a new KR I think the the producers should have set their sights a bit higher. Take your cue off Battlestar and what they did for a remake. Come on people!
Very poor. I hope it doesn't get picked up as a series.
