Why did BBC America jump from episode 6 to episode 17? I get the whole Claire gone/Claire back angle. But to jump 11 episode, I feel cheated.
By the way, I really do like this show (thanks Dave!) which is why I feel kinda cheated. |

What!
That sounds crazy?
What are they doing - perhaps it was a technical glitch.

| I hope so. I checked my dvr to be sure. It went from episode 6 to #15 and this week is #16. At least they aren't skipping around. |

It's a ploy for you to purchase the DVD box sets of them. I'm just kidding.. I don't even know if they are available on region 1 DVD in North America right now. I am guessing they are though.
I lost access to BBC America a couple weeks ago when I switched from satellite to cable. Did they happen to show a marathon over the weekend in between the two episodes that might account for the jump? Otherwise, it is a bit bizarre to skip ahead like that.
Cheers,

I assume that they added the 1 at the front for the second series. Series one had 6 episodes and series two had 7. That makes 13 episodes in total so far. Series three will start in January on ITV with 10 episodes.

i know what you mean.
back when i was in grade school i watched Dragon Ball and for some reason the channel showing it would go up to a certain episode and then they would start over at the beginning of the series.
at a cliffhanger episode no less!
i had to wait until years later to see what happened! |

| That would explain it. I immediately noticed new hairstyles on the characters (something I normally wouldn't pick up on) and thought "Dang, it's almost like it's a different season." And Louis, they are pushing the DVDs during the commercials. |

Update:
On BBC America they have been running ads for a new season of "Primeval" starting May 16th.
I haven't seen the show but I suspect that it will be series three that they begin airing. |

And the US SciFi channel has been showing episodes on Friday nights at 10 PM (EDT-Eastern feed), starting, I assume, with the first series.

I mentioned that on a different thread:
PRIMEVAL on Sci-Fi (US)
I don't think many people took any notice because everybody was talking about the third series in the UK. The ones in the US are the first series. |

JUST A REMINDER
Starting this Saturday, BBC America will begin airing the new season (series three) of "Primeval". It will begin with a mini-marathon of past episodes beginning at 6:00 PM (EDT) with the new episode at 9:00 PM (EDT).
For all the American "Primeval" fans out there. ENJOY!
Don't forget that Sci-Fi channel also carries the show on Friday nights. |
