I saw it today. I had no idea it was coming. New webisodes, I mean. I haven't been watching the Sci-Fi channel since BSG paused a while ago, so if they have been promoting it, I haven't seen it. I have been tuning in more to the channel since my cable provider has just added the HD channel for it.
What did I think of the first one? Well, it's off to a good start. I am glad to see that they are using the regular cast and it is pretty much set in the present (well, within several weeks of where last left off at least). On a personal note, it was a little hard to watch Gaeta with his prosthetic lower leg/foot as I had a close family member go through the same thing.
I only hope whatever develops with the characters here is carried over to the series proper.

I'm surprised their aren't more people talking about this in the forums here. I mean, I believe there's a lot of crossover fans between D.Who & BSG.
Part 2 just came out today. At the Sci-fi website they also offer "enhanced" versions of webisodes 1 & 2 which offer an audio commentary by 1 of the writers. It's rather insightful at times. The writer talks about many of the Galactica interior scenes in the webisodes were the very last to be shot on the Galactica soundstages and many more literally demolished as soon as the webisode shooting had concluded. |

I really wish they would just release these "webisodes" as a podcast instead. Having to remember to go their website to check on new episodes is a fraking chore, but that where they can serve up the ads, I know.
Thanks for the heads up on the new one, I will have to check it out.

Because you cant view it from anywhere outside N.America it seems.
The message reads "it cannt be viewed from your location"
Whether that means my country, or my lounge is a mystery, i may have to try another computer somewhere else!
This has peed me off a little bit though, as Ken and Louis have stated in previous podcasts, why do they restrict certain showings of a TV series that has global recognition, i understand rights and costs etc. But it's released at practically the same time all over the globe??!!

I was going to wait until they were all out before I watched them, but I got bored while doing laundry so I gave in.
Honestly, my favorite part of the webisodes was the trailer for Underworld: Rise of the Lycans featuring Michael Sheen (aka David Frost, aka Tony Blair).
Maybe I'll feel different once I see the rest - or after Christmas, when I'll stop thinking about the Doctor Who special and start focusing on the new BSG season! |

I was just catching up with them last night (or this morning for some of you folks). I had seen episode 1, but when I checked now it was up to episode 5 already. It's only been a couple of weeks since it started. What are they doing, releasing 3 per week?
Either way, I wish they would do it as a podcast as I normally do visit their website and when I do, I am reminded why I don't visit. I have to endure their Underworld promo each and ever time. Well, I actually just mute the sound on my computer and do something else for 30 seconds or however long it is until it is over.

| I found by accident today that the little green lizard "airline" had tickets available for the webisodes. So those of you not in North America (or who don't want to see the Underworld trailer each time) might want to rack up some frequent flier miles. |

FYI, each new episode is being released every Monday & Wednesday up to episode 10, leading into the season 4.5 premiere. |

I found a better solution... Amazon.
You still can't download them, but you can watch them via video on demand for free without any annoying "Underworld" ads.
