I just went to Toys R Us and found two of the three new die-cast Titanium ships from Hasbro.
The Viper and Galactica. They didn't have the Cylon ship, but at least they had these two.
Quite nice!
Just a heads-up for those who like Galactica and have been waiting for some of the new toys.
Sean.

Cool... I remember the original series toy line was by Mego or was it Meco... no, it was Matel I think... Jeesh... it began with an "M" - LOL . I have a few figures from that line, but I didn't get all the vehicles except for this one silly Viper launching bay (it shot out Vipers basically using rubber bands underneath it).
Hasbro has taken up the mental with the new series then? I guess who better since Kenner/Hasbro has been holding the torch with the Star Wars line all these years.
Is this what you are talking about:

Cool, except I don't like the white canopy glass. I would have to paint it.
Cheers,

Then fear not, because the actual canopy (unlike this prototype) is clear plastic, painted with gray around the rims and looks fine. The canopy slides forward.
Yes, Louis, that is the image of it, (well, the prototype anyway)
It also has landing gear that lowers.
The Battlestar Galactica has two expandable landing bays.

Funny, though, my Battlestar came with a Star Wars stand, not a Battlestar Galactica stand...
And yes, these are the NEW series ships, not the old.
This is the Cylon ship I didn't find yet:

I think I'm in love. As Louis, and George Takei, would say, oh my.
I've gotta get them. |

If you are anywhere near San Diego next weekend, the San Diego Comic-Con will have a panel on B.G. as they usually do. Edward James Olmos, Richard Hatch, Mary McDonnell, Lucy Lawless, and the producers will be there.

The convention has gotten so big that it's probably time for this to happen. In recent years, they've gotten some press on Entertainment Weekly, the Tonight Show, and other outlets.
Doctor Who doesn't have much of a presence there and the only thing I can see is maybe, just maybe, some Daleks for a Robot panel (it isn't clear but hinted at). Perhaps some of the creative costume designers there will skip the Stormtroopers and make a Cyberman outfit?

| I don't expect too much from the G4 coverage. I've been let down too many times. |

Yeah, I'd expect it to look like MTV for 12 year olds.
