Will there be any coverage of Torchwood in the Gallifreyan Embassy site? Will it merit its own forum area? I'm just curious. Now that season 2 of Who is over, I'm really looking forward to Torchwood to pass the time until the next Who Christmas special. While searching for info on when the Torchwood series is scheduled to start I came across the following URL. Torchwood House. I'm assuming this is for the show as opposed to an actual site in Scotland. If you choose the option for the Observatory and highlight some of the sites on the lunar surface the descriptions seem vaguely sci-fi...

"Landing site for the Apollo 11 lunar module, the first official manned mission on the moon. Level 2 authorization is required to view this area." (emphasis mine)

Doh...I just clicked on the disclaimer link and it answered my question.

"This is not the real Torchwood House website. In fact, there is no Torchwood House. This is a fictional website created for the new series of Doctor Who by BBC.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused if you thought this was a real website."

no worries. Actually i thought the site was pretty cool. Looking forward to torchwood...would rather have a cross-over ep. bring Captain Jack back. But i look foward to how they do it without the Doctor.

I thought for sure they would use the opportunity to explain Cpt. Jack's involvement with TW and explain how he got there, etc. I think it will be more difficult in a TW episode because not everyone will have seen the Doctor Who eps with Jack (theoretically). Now they'll have to satisfy the Who fans without confusing anyone just tuning into TW.

Yes we will. We obviously have been covering Torchwood since it was announced last October, but we will be adding a new topic for Torchwood on the site and a new forum section for it as well.

We will also continue to cover it in our podcasts. Although our main focus will remain on Doctor Who of course.

    Cheers,
    Louis
