Yep, same Harry Harrison. He also wrote "A trans-Atlantic Tunnel Hurray" and the excellent "Deathworld"Series.
Logan's run, Logan's World and Logan's Search are by William Nolan, the first was co-written with Clayton Johnston.

It's quite a thin book - more like a novella? than a novel. But a great story.

I'm big into sci-fi, in fact, I think most of the shows I watch have some sort of sci-fi aspect to it (well, if you include ghosts/the dead speaking to you in visions as sci-fi). I think my all time favorites are:
Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (the later years, when there was actually fighting going on)
Farscape
The Invisible Man
First Wave
Stargate (yes, I enjoy SG-1 - the early years more, but still a fan who organizes Friday nights around the show)
Battlestar Galactica (the new series more, but I've even seen BSG: 1980 a few times....)
Highlander (the show and the first movie)
Futurama (well, it does take place in the future.....) |

Yea, another DS9 fan!
I'm going to steal a few of yours and add them to mine. I'm a big Farscape fan, and have always loved Futurama also.
I also see a lot of Super Hero movies shown on Sci.Fi. channel so if I can add those I'd have to say that I watch Justice League Unlimited with my kids as well, and really enjoy them. I'm going to enjoy the new 'Legion of Super Heroes' cartoon when that comes out, and that will be pure Sci.Fi. set 1000 years in the future. |

David Macallum? Ilya whatever his name was from The Man From U.N.C.L.E.? I don't think that I ever saw that. I was actually talking about a VERY short run show on the US SciFi channel. Wasn't great, but always made me laugh, as the guy tried to figure out his invisibility (which came and went), sort of like Greatest American Hero (did anyone see that?) |
