| Taras, that was freakin' brilliant. You had me from the first alliteration. Seriously funny stuff. |

I had just read Paul Cornell's blog post on canon, and it just came out... I just hope he appreciates it. Thanks.

I can't see how he won't. Your piece was a perfectly pitched response to his li'l essay. Both deserve to be required reading/listening for all Doctor Who fans.
(I particularly enjoyed the obscure inconsistencies, such as the fact that Roman numerals IV and V directly contradicted each other--just barely denying the comic Nick Briggs' Doctor but fully embracing the A/V version.) |

Those inconsistancies are based on the approximate range of DWM issues, and other merchandise that I own. I have most of the graphic novel collections, but that would have been overkill. And, yes, I have read some of Paul's New Adventures novels, and enjoyed them. But I had to simplify to keep it down to about five minutes and change.
That is one of the "joys" of advanced Doctor Who addiction—reveling in the inconcistancies!

| Very, very funny stuff. For me it was the highlight of what was one of the most enjoyable 'Shocks to date. |

I can't agree more. What with the guest hosting by Colin and the bonus features by Taras and Darth Skeptical, there was a lot to love in this episode. I was grinning and chuckling the whole walk back to the train station. I was getting some strange looks. Then next time you're all in Chicago, I'll buy a round. |

A work of ART, I bow to your wisdom and hope that the BBC and other involved entities take notes.

Taras is great! That is why we keep him on the payroll... well... we would if we had a payroll. LOL.
As for the episode being one of the better ones, I just have to say that should go without say... when you have Taras, DarthSkeptical, and Colin "appearing" all on the same show together, how can you go wrong?
Cheers,

There really was a good vibe to Podshock 67 - feel sorry poor old Podshock 65 hasn't had a mention.
Particularly liked the 'Louis Punpani' sketch....as in 'comedy sketch'

That had me audibly groaning on the train as I listened. Nothing like people staring at you wondering if you are crazy or just physically ill.
Good stuff as always! But Darth's "oops, I should have said 'spoiler' there" review had me hitting my head with my palm - I hadn't gotten to that episode on the new McGann drama; the result was that I went straight home and listened to it! |

Louis,
We need to put a disclaimer at the top of the Podcast:
"May cause audible groaning. Listen with care in public places or on public transportation."
