| Well, we're fairly well placed on the TV & Film charts, but we're still not quite into the top 100 overall. Keep voting, people, all month long. Let's get our overall figures raised from the dreary mid-300s! |

Did you say "74,384,338 to 1 against"? That's my lucky number!

| Well, we've moved up to #5 in our category and #47 overall. This time yesterday we had no votes at all. Remember, though, these rankings are relative and quite slippery. So keep voting throughout the month. Our average rating is a dismal 342, which means we always start each month way, way off the charts. It's our figures at the end of the month which make the biggest difference to shifting that figure. |

We're currently effectively tied for fourth place! That's amazing for just 24 hours work, guys Keep on voting and we might soon have a "Podshock best" of at least 3d place! |

At about the halfway point, we've slipped out of the top 10 and are currently at 11th place. Just a few votes will get us back up to the top 5, so please, if you haven't voted, click on the link above and cast away |

I guess voting too early in the month mobilizes the competition to vote more at the end of the month... |

Done! We're #12 in TV and Film. I'm bummed to see "Firefly Talk" ahead of Podshock. I'm a Browncoat too, but that podcast works my last nerve. It sounds like they're reading all their stuff, even the "Hi, fellow host, how-have-you-been?" Ugh, just wooden. That's one of the reasons I love Podshock so much - I love listening to y'all just hang out and talk. Except, maybe, for all the puns. |

Voted.
I wasn't aware there was a Firefly podcast (although I've never looked). I wonder how much chat you can get out of an entire run of 13 episodes and a movie(?). At least with The Doctor we've got some variety to discuss/listen to on a regular basis (and don't get me wrong - I loved Firefly) |

You'd be surprised. Many, MANY fans are pushing for a sequel of the film, and there are a fair number of products still being released (books, rumors of a World of Warcraft-style game), so there's a bit to talk about. I'm one of those few fans who doesn't need a sequel, though; I'm happy with what I got, though I would have liked it if the show hadn't been cancelled. But I mostly agree with you - I don't think there's enough to keep a podcast vital and interesteing. Unlike the Doctor, where there's such a richness of material.

I prefer The Signal to Firefly Talk, as far as Firefly/Serenity podcasts go. |
