Just a quick shout out to let everyone know that episode 71 of Doctor Who: Podshock is still in post -- about half way done. 72 is waiting behind it... and we have another roundtable discussion episode that will follow that for episode 73.
Plus more great stuff in coming episodes.
I do apologize for the delays, unfortunately work has been monopolizing so much of my time without compensation... so this is why it has been taking longer than expected to get these episodes completed and out on the feeds.
It's almost 5am as I write this and I am going to call it a night... This weekend is another woozy head-spinning one as far as my schedule goes... which does not bode well for production work. Having said that, I hope to have 71 before Monday.
Thank you for your patience.
Cheers,
Louis |

Louis, thank you for your hard work. And I do understand. As a podcaster myself, with a full-time job, freelance writing, and family--it sure isn't easy to get those podcasts out!
Please, get some sleep. |

This is not good for you Louis.
The dark cloud of another series is now upon us and we know how that makes you suffer!
While we all love the podcasts while a series is running there were times over the last two when I feared you would break.
I know that this is a suggestion that you are loathe to take on board but I will make it now and I will make it early.
Consider outsourcing some of the editing duties please.
You are already three episodes down and the new series starts today.
You know that there are people here that would love to help you, take advantage of the offers. If you just farm out sections and then stitch the show back together again then it will help you.
I have stayed quiet on this subject in previous times but I think most of the regulars know how much strain this is on you. |

Thanks for the update Louis.
Don't overwork yourself, its only a podcast.
We are grateful whenever we get them.
I too am volunteering to help with post production
if you ever decide that you want to go that direction.
Just got a new core 2 machine and I'm multi-tasking like crazy.

I'd started a separate thread here about S3 episode discussions.
Please take as much time as you need to get the episodes out, it's not as if you get paid for this!!! But could you also give consideration to my idea of putting out 'raw' standalone Aftershocks with your reactions to the new episodes so they're not several weeks out of date when we first hear them?
Please don't take any of the above as criticism as that's not what is meant to be!
Keep up the good work! |

That's right!
No criticism. We love Podshock but we don't want to see you make yourself ill over it |

Louis, you do a fatastic job. I'm torn between saying take your time and hurry up! I've just watched Smith & Jones and I'm really looking forward to hearing what you three thought of it. We all love you Louis. Louis... Louis... Louis... |

P.S. It is of course possible that this message is a trap. If it is I can deal with it. P.P.S. I'm leaving this note in case I can't!
