Well just listening to it now and the audio sounds better - at least as far as I've listened.

The only repeat ONLY reason that Podshock LIVE is third in the list is that #1 is a TalkShoe add and #2 pays for his spot.
Podshock LIVE is the only Sci-Fi talkcast that makes it into the top 25 list so far. |

| On the podcast there was a mention that there will soon be a studio podcast release alongside the live ones. Will this Studio one automatically update for us who subscribe to the podcast via itunes? |

All the podcasts (live and studio) are available via the feeds as soon as they are released. On both the AAC and MP3 feeds. |

If you are listening to the copy on either of our two feeds, not the TalkShoe feed, then I did to a little post production work to the audio. No editing of the audio content itself, just the levels.
Having said that, I also believe while we were recording the show, that the audio sounded better to begin with as well. Perhaps there was some improvements made in Talkshoe's end.

Yes.
But also be aware that Talkshoe themselves went ahead and put the live show only feed in iTunes as well.
So if you are subscribing to our AAC or MP3 feed, you will get all our podcasts... whereas right now, the Talkshoe feed will only have the live shows.

In the structure of TalkShoe the bonus is visibility. When we make the top 25 (interactivity) list on Dave Nelson's podcast (which we have done since the week of 5/26/07and every week since)the Podshock name is getting free advertising. Untill we get pushed down to page 2 of the Sci-Fi catagory I don't see the need to "pony up". If TalkShoe becomes popular enough to merrit it then we can put a pool up for that monthly fee.

We can if we like. It would be akin to advertising and promoting. I just wish that Talkshoe did not lump them together. In other words, I wish they would rather have a section on the top which could be labeled "Featured Podcasts" or something like that, in which podcasts could pay to be placed on it for higher visibility rather than being placed in the top 10 podcasts as it dilutes the podcasts that "naturally" make it there.

Featured-$19.95 mo. Shows up in the home page and browse page and the featured page.
Top Ten for Category-$9.95 mo. Shows up in the top ten for category only.
And yes I think that the Top Ten that pay for the slot should have a marker that shows that fact. Shows like DW Podshock made the list naturaly from listener interaction and deserve the distinction.
