The Paul McGann Years?
I guess you could discuss his movie and his Big Finish stuff. |

Actually, I don't. I'm subscribed to the Talk Shoe Live feed, but I don't go there very often. I figured if something was scheduled, they would have updated the picture on the main page of the Embassy site.
I hadn't thought about it, but I guess VotD is not that far away. Woo-Hoo! The Sarah Jane Adventures really helped bridge that time between the end of series 3 and the Christmas episode. |

Sorry, I hadn't had the time to update the promo header graphic for the next live show. Yes, it will be reviewing VOYAGE OF THE DAMNED. Then in 2 weeks time after that it will be the Paul McGann years (yes, we are including the audio dramas as well).
With the holidays hoopla in full swing now I just haven't had the time update the promo graphic for the 30th of December live show. I will get to it tonight or tomorrow.
Cheers,

OK, I have updated the promo for the next episode of Doctor Who: Podshock LIVE...
Sorry for any confusion about it.

Now I feel bad. I wasn't trying to bust Louis' chops or anything. |

No, don't feel bad. I wasn't trying to make anyone feel bad...
And hey, what makes you think that I don't enjoy having my chops busted from time to time ;o)
Seriously though, I just haven't had time lately to be on the top of my game.. Even though I am far from being into the holidays this year, it still is swallowing just as much of my time as if I was though.
Cheers,

Would you say that you're kneedeep in the hoopla?

I know it. But I am not sure if I can play in this game as I was the one to use it... and yes, whenever I do use "hoopla" I think of that reference...

Highlight - Starship, formerly Jefferson Starship, formaly Jefferson Airplane. So it's a Starship refrence in honor of Starship Titanic. Nice one. - |

It'll definitely be an interesting listen.
I thought VotD totally delivered on (nearly) all fronts, and I think it was definitely the best of the Xmas specials, but so far there are a lot of neutral/take it or leave it views being expressed in forum...... |

I'm subscribed to the Talk Shoe "rough ready and raw" feed so I don't have to wait. But the last few episodes, Louis has been particularly hard to hear. The others aren't too bad, but Louis seems significantly quieter than the others. It makes it really hard to listen to during my 2-mile walk from work to the train station. Is that just something with the raw files? I'd consider going back to the main feed if it was. It wouldn't be so bad, but Louis is sort of the unofficial lead host (if there is such a thing). In the meantime, I'll save my Podshock listening for the train ride itself. |

Hmm... Thanks for the heads-up on the audio level via TalkShoe. Since I am not listening to myself on Talkshoe, I don't know what my levels are from it's perspective.
The audio should be better when they come out of post-production and appear on the main feeds. This is because I am recording the audio locally and grab the audio from there for the actual podcast... and just rely on the Talkshoe recorded audio as a backup source (which has come in handy time to time when there were problems). Of course, in post-I can flesh out the audio better as well.
I just need a real-life time machine so I can have more hours in my day. Well... it's coming along. Just not as quickly as I would like.
Cheers,

Even Ken was a bit quiet on last weeks show.
Although I have to use Skype Out at the moment (which is charged by the minute) at least you can make a test call with it to check your sound levels.
