Guys, great to have you back for another podcast, I was definitely going through withdrawl and checking in for updates on when the new one would be out. Enjoyed it as usual.

Ken made an interesting comment about Jonathan Pryce, that he would like to see him play the Master. I too think that is a cool idea. He is a great actor and was so very good in the Curse of Fatal Death. Don't know if you know the irony of him doing the voice overs for the Infiniti commercials but anyone who saw Miss Saigon knows what I mean. I was somewhat surprised that Infiniti had him do so many of the commercials, but most of America probably did not know what he did in the show. It always made me smile to hear his voice on them. He would be an interesting addition to the show and well, he is Welsh, so hey, seems appropriate, too.

Torchwood is intriguing, it would be cool if they could get a US network to pick that up and it may be easier than Doctor Who because it is geared to an adult audience. I understand your concerns about the show maybe taking focus away from Doctor Who, but with UK series having fewer episodes to a season and the shows being set to broadcast at different times of the year, I think it should not be as big a concern. Here (in US) everything is set to broadcast at the same time and with seasons being longer in duration, there is definitely more of a chance of lack of attention if you have multiple series in production.

With all that is going on, the news section of the show should get easier for you guys to do Wink

Thanks for the fun as always,
    Natalie
