There are actually now three episodes of Doctor Who: Podshock recorded and in post production now... and episode 41 would have been finished and released on Saturday if we didn't have to record episode 43 that day... |
|
Lewis, you all do a cracking and I for one really appreciate it. Just to catch up with yourselves, I wouldn't mind if you put out really rough edits (raw speech without added clips) of the 3 shows you have in post. It would be great to get back on track while the show is going out here in the UK.
What does everyone else think? I would really like to hear the reviews pretty soon after i've seen the episode - this is in no way critical - i love you all |

P.S. It is of course possible that this message is a trap. If it is I can deal with it. P.P.S. I'm leaving this note in case I can't!

| There's always a logical explanation and besides most every big (hour plus) podcast recently took a one weekend holiday anyways. Cannot wait to hear what you guys thought of ROC and AOS plus Jules insights from behind the scenes. |

I'm glad it's just a backlog and not illness or a problem causing the delay. Keep up the great work! |

I'd just like to back this up with my support also. I love and appreciate the amount of wrok that is put into making Podshock a quality podcast, but I'm sure most of us would not mind if you did release a couple of raw episodes to catch up and give yourself a bit of a breather. I understand that this is isn't the only thing that delays the release, but I imagine it would help you a bit?
And if there's anything we can do to help, just let us know!

As a new Dr. Who fan and a new Podshock listener, this has been a great opportunity to re-listen to this 'season' of Podshocks again.
Hat's off to some excellent work and great information. You've turned a fan into a fanatic!

The answer to your question is 47. It used to be 42, but it's been updated for inflation.

"Wait a second, it's been almost two weeks?...WHAT'S HAPPENING?!?!"
I'm jonesin' for a fix boys. EDIT! EDIT! EDIT! YOU ARE OUR SER...VANTS!! |

The Whocast is late as well this week.
D'ya think Louis and Paul could be the same person?

Well heck even my podcast was a little late this week, due to webspace restrictions. But I am working on getting more space top hopefully rememedy that in the future. it can be tricky getting one together. I should hopefully (knock wood) have a new one up late Sunday, early Monday.
Cheers,
Russel |

| Speaking of missing podcasts, anyone know what happened to Tom Dillahunt's PodcastWho? I enjoy listening to his take on things, but he hasn't put out anything new in over a month. Don't mean to get in a plug for another Who podcast, but we're all friendly around here... |

Was wondering the exact same thing last night. I wandred over to his site, and nothing new in well over a month...
Hope he's ok.
Sean.

I am guessing there will be a new one out eventually. It is not the first time that a long gap passed (in the order of a month) between shows, but he usually comes back and apologizes for the delay. He does get busy with his family and raising the "nugget" (his daughter)... and often they are moving from one location to another... and as Taras has said, sometimes life interferes with podcast schedules.
I will try to get in touch with him and I will pass on any updates if there are any to report.
Cheers,
Louis |
