    Hi Hab,

RSS stands for Real Simple Syndication. I am not sure if there is a way to get it via email (though there may be a utility or service out there that might do it).

To get our content automatically, you can use a RSS reader application. First let state we really have two different RSS feeds. One is for our articles (news, reviews, etc.) that you see on our web site, the other is for podcast, Doctor Who: Podshock which will give you our audio file of each show and show description.

I am guessing you are interested in getting our podcast since this was posted in the Podshock section for forum... It's real easy if you use Apple's iTunes. Once you subscribe to the podcast, iTunes will download each new episode for you automatically when you launch iTunes. Apple iTunes is free to download and use and is available for both Mac and Windows users. If you need it, you can download it here. With iTunes, you can simply click here and then hit the subscribe button in iTunes.

If you rather not use Apple iTunes, you can use any "podcast catcher" client software... such as iPodderX. It is available for Mac and now for Windows as well, you find it here. Once you install iPodderX, you can add our podcast by adding our RSS feed to your subscriptions. Our podcast feed is

I believe you can also automatically get our episodes (and other podcasts) using web-base services... Perhaps using a service called Odeo. I haven't used them in that fashion, but you can find their site at I know we are listed in their catalog.

Anyway, I hope I was able to help. Please let me know if you have any more questions. It sounds a bit more complicated than it really is... once you subscribe, you will receive the episodes automatically and with iTunes and some other applications, will also put it on your portable digital audio player as well (you don't have to have one to listen to our show or any other podcast).

wTicker should work... But I have never used the software myself. Look to see if there is an option somewhere to subscribe to a feed. It has to be there somewhere. I went to their web site to see if I could find documentation that would explain it and I could relay it you, but alas, I did not find an online manual. They do have a message board forum on their site, so I suggest you ask your question there relating to wTicker since they would be best to help you out with their software.

Their web site can be found at

Once again our podcast feed address is as follows:

Just copy and paste that into the subscription feed subscription field where the software asks for it.
