Glarkware, in conjunction with one of my favorite website's for television (www.televisionwithoutpity.com) has a new shirt out for pre-order:
here
It is Tom Baker's hat and scarf, as last seen on the coat rack in the Tardis closet as 10 looked for his "style."
While not collectable in any sense, I thought ya'll would appreciate the offer.
(sorry, I couldn't figure out how to get the photo to link here). |

Okay, I cannot figure out why the link doesn't work. my apologies guys.
Try coming at it this way (until our esteemed administrator fixes my foul-up).
Glarkware
Click on "TWOP" at the top (stands for television without pity).
On the righthand column is Who's Coat Rack.
EDIT: never mind..... I feel into the double http:// trap again... And I even told myself to watch out for it prior to completing the post! |

I like how it is cleverly made up (both the product and the order form) without any direct references to Doctor Who and therefore are able to avoid any costly BBC merchandising licensing fees.
I believe you (mad4plaid) fixed the link yourself so no need to for any fixes
Cheers,

| So what's the deal with hoodies anyway? I know I've never been anywhere close to hip, and I'm going to sound cranky and will soon be sputtering "these kids today" but I just don't get it. What is the appeal of the hoodie? The hood is just this essentially useless appendage that flaps in the back and gets in the way. People don't use the hoods, so why do they wear hoodies? And you have to pull it over your head so you'll mess up your hair putting it on or removing it. I don't like 'em. Never have. Damn kids. Stay off my lawn! |

In part of the UK they DO have the hood up - even over caps.
For some it is seen as a dress code - by others as 'they are up to no good.'
I some Shopping Malls they are banned because the survailance cameras can't be used to 'identify' them.
In the UK some people claim we are the most 'videoed' or photographed nation. In large cities ie. Manchester you will appear on 300 cameras in a typical day.

The hoodie is a great second insulating layer that one can wear over a wool hat when one is out at night at the telescope. It is also invaluable when a cold front unexpectedly rolls in and one is caught outside. |

are you serious? They are toasty warm, and I definitely wear the hood. I take the dog out, I put on the hood. I go for my jog, I put on the hood. I pretend I am a jedi, I put on the hood.
Hoodies are great! |

| I do have to say I find this "Trendy" doctor who clothing alarming. I mean - just think of all the lightweight fans who are just suddenly jumping on the bandwagon!!! I wore a heat-sensitive Doctor Who Fan Club of America pin on my purse all through highschool & college and believe me, I was occassionally the object of ridicule because of it. Now to think of those "cool" kids wearing a "Doctor Who" Hoodie with an "artsy" screen print on it.... why, something about that just boils my goat. |
