I'm so bummed. This looks so cool, but according to the website, it's not available.
The Doctor Who Tardis USB Hub boasts four ports in which to plug your various gizmos. Simply plug in and you’re away. But here’s the good bit: every time you connect or disconnect a device, the blue light on the top of the Tardis flashes and that unmistakable de-materialisation ‘vworp, vworp’ sound starts sawing away at your lugholes.

What's the policy on linking to images on other websites anyway? I thought about doing an img src link to the picture on the page, but wasn't sure it was ok. |

I'm going "Full Circle" and putting my avatar back to what it was when I first joined. :)

Well.. just try to choose ones that fit the space (width of the forums).

I want one as well. Anyone know where it is available?

Course, that auction is well above the going rate on Amazon.co.uk, where it is available as of this writing for £14.99.
£19.99 is MSR price.
Sadly, this doesn't appear to be available in the US, yet. |

I got one when WhoNA got a bunch in. It comes with a 220V power brick, which you would need to replace with a 120V version if you plan on using it in North America.

Ewww... That is a good and valid point. Thanks for the heads-up on that.

| The Latest issue of Preview has it on page 468 priced at $30. It should be available in April (according to the cover) |

It's interesting that this thread has started because this is the forth time in two days I've read about these hubs - the thing is they have been available for ages, I was going to get one before Christmas but waited in case Santa bought me one - unfortunatly he forgot
Although... I could do with some more usb ports on my PC at work and I've also got a Tardis shape free space on my desk to fill |

Why didn't you let us know then? No wonder Santa didn't get you one, after all he knows who is naughty and who is nice.

Well if I remember correctly you can daisy chain 147 USB ports from a PC I think.
So you could have a whole 'fleet' of TRADIS's
Or is that a 'flock' of TARDIS's?
Or 'cloister' of TARDIS's? (cloister bell - get it? eh?)
EDIT - thought of another - a 'harmony' of TARDIS's (Eye of Harmony)

I don't think it will work quite that well in practice.

Just attach any old USB hubs to the TARDIS-those other hubs are clearly TARDISes with working chameleon circuits |

So is this the UK version or is it compatible with US power outlets? If it's the latter, I'm gonna start lobbying for a birthday present!!
