Lovely Ebay Item For $7.99 Views: 943

I can't remember what I was looking for now, but in my searches thru Ebay, I came across these cigarette/credit card cases, and they're beautiful. The pictures are clear and shiny, and the cases are good quality. They're listed at $9.99, and I offered $7.99. Shipping was cheap, and £ versus $ differences made them greater value still.

I'm very happy with them. I don't actually smoke, and I'm not sure what I'm going with them (they're tins so they're not exactly back pocket friendly), but I thought I'd share them.

    Those look great!

I'm a sucker for that type of stuff, little carrying cases or holders etc.

    They're really good!

I'm going to get a 3 others (Sherlock Holmes, Dragnet, Batman).

& also, I remember there were a couple of Betty Page ones!

They demanded it under the threat of extermination! Wink

Well, really it was due to "Dalekmania" of that time. Anything to do with Daleks sold and was hot commodity in this period (and to some extent even today). If it were not for the immense popularity that the Daleks had and the attention it brought to the series in the beginning, we may not be here today talking about Doctor Who.

The two feature films that Doctor Who had in the 1960's were really just showcases for the Daleks... they are really Dalek films more so than Doctor Who films.
