Mickey isn't a 12" figure. (But yeah, I'll probably get one of him too, as I am collecting most of the 6" figs too.) But my main concentration is on 12" figures.

    Sean.

I'll be glad when I've got my hands on Martha (no wishful thinking pun intended). I always think it's best when your hero has a companion to look out for/for him.

Although more than capable of dealing with a few Cybermen, The Cyber Leader, 2 Clockwork Droids & 2 Oods - I think the collection really starts to take place.

As a character I really wasn't keen on Haim, but I guess she'll make a nice addition to the collection.

PS - re Mickey, I've tried about a dozen shops since Saturday trying to locate one - there's a lot of them on Ebay so they're obviously out there somewhere, but I don't yet know where.

On Dave's link they describe Martha as "small, but perfectly formed". Nice.

I'll tell you what guys, the 12" Martha is a lot more attractive than the 5" version!

She looks more like Martha's mum!!!

I wasn't overly impressed with Mickey - but he looks postively handsome in comparison....

It looks like some sort of bizarro-world Martha...

You're right it looks more like her mum than her...

Despite the fact that I can't really afford them right now (credit cards are either wonderful or horrid things - depending on how you look at them), I've just ordered all the new figures from Forbidden Planet (using the links from Podshock if that makes any difference or helps Louis).

I didnt realise there was so many new ones coming out (it was 15 figures!).

With P&P, it came to 140!!!

I'm 38 years old, and I'm broke because I buy too many toys! Eek! Twisted Evil Ha!

140 UKPs - nearly 300 dollars! - I'd expect just one figure for that!

    A life size model!

....there was a really disturbing show on BBCAmerica Sunday night called, "Love me, Love my doll." I won't go into details, but I will point out that the life size dolls cost a minimum of 4,000.

    4000?? Eek! Eek!

The 38 year old man who buys too many toys that I was talking about earlier, probably won't win any sheltered life competitions; but I can truthfully say I've no idea what the going rate for a life size doll is (and in fairness, clearly neither has Dave)!

    Four grand!?!

I think I'd just settle for an 'evening out with' the real thing - let's leave it at that.

Come to think of it - I think an evening with Tish would be better Big Grin
