I know they're making them, I've even read the descriptions of them, but WHEN will they be released?!?
Does anyone have any sort of release schedule for these?
I'm collect the Doctor figures, but none of the multitude of others (companions, enemies, etc.) so I'm just getting anxious! |

Yeah I'd be very interested in collecting those. I don't want to begin collection the new series stuff because there is just so much of it - It'll be cool to see they're take on the old characters.

Character Options is doing the classic series Doctors as well. I've been doing some research and it appears we'll see the first wave in May of this year. Should include the 4th, 5th and 6th Doctors as well as other 'non-doctor' characters/enemies.
Not sure if May is the UK release date or US, but either way they should be available online from someone around May.
I'm saving my pennies now! |

I'd heard they were due "Spring 08".
There's no way of knowing how accurate that is. All of the releases seem to come either a few weeks early, or a few weeks late - and it's generally totally random as to which way round that works. |

They include Doctors 4, 5 and 6 and a range of 'monsters' - a zygon, a sea devil, the robots of death, Magnus Greel and Mr Sinn. The next wave icludes a battle Dalek, a tenth-planey cyberman and monsters from season 12 (probably sontaran, davros, cyberman and the giant robot).
They look fantastic especially the Tom Baker model. Love to see some earlier monsters in there e.g a draconian, an ogron, alpha centuri and some companions (sarah jane with detachable spider?).
Then the big question of course: once bought should they be left in the box in a state of perfection or opened and risk a six-year-old daughter laying her hands on them? |

The correct answer of course is that you buy two - one for playing with and one for best 
I just saw the Magnus Greel and Mr Sin figures and my toes curled in excitement. Can't wait for the Tenth Planet Cybermen either!
Has anyone bought any of the Weta Collectibles yet? Or are they just a little too expensive? |

I've looked mored closely and each figure comes with a part of the Giant Robot. get them all and you complete the extra figure.
Top three 'must do monsters's in the future for me are:
1. Draconian
2. An ice warrior
3.Morbius
Any other ideas? |

| I have to say that I HATE that they are releasing these classic series figures. I have no use for action figures, my wife doesn't want me to buy them, I can't really play with them, my children are too young to enjoy them, my wife thinks they're just dust collectors if they sit out on my desk and I want want want them! I hope they come out with a Pertwee so I can agonize over buying that one, too... |
