I've actually seen these now - they're got a complete set, on display in FP Shaftesbury Avenue. They look so good.
As a small aside, I personally thought the old style cards were better - but seeing as 90% of this lot is open I suppose it's not a big deal - but for the select few items I do wish to keep MOMC then I preferred them previously...

I love the Robot. As a monster it was big favourite as a kid (upon broadcast), but as I got older it was one of the things that lost it's menace. Now I've come full circle and I'm back where I started.
In toy museums, museums generally and any sort of retro shops, they'll often have a very traditional boys toys kind of robot, very similar in appearance to the K1 Robot. I've often thought about picking one up, but I never did. I won't need to now.
I suspect these haven't done as well as CHaracter (and the individual retailers) would've hoped.
When new figures are out, in the first 3 or 4 weeks at least, there is always a real scramble to get them. It doesnt matter where you go, it's a bit of a lottery.
I thought these would be REALLY hard to get, but I've seen all 8 of them in 3 different retailers since they became available about a week ago. In addition to that, I've just noticed that Galaxy 4 already have a couple of them on sale! (under the guise of "army building").
