The TARDIS interior playset (shown in DWM 368) looks awesome! No walls, though... except near the door.
NOt shown in that ad are the new Cybermen and this next batch of stuff, including K9.

| oh my good gravy, that commercial is great! It reminds me of the toy commercials from my (u.s.) childhood. Is there a way to get this in America on a per figure basis without paying an arm and a leg for these? I haven't even checked WHO North America, but they aren't always reasonable. Sean, any idea on the cheapest way to get U.K. toys? |

| okay, just went to whona.com, and the doctor figure is only about 10 bucks, but pretty much everything else is close to 20. Why is that? to those in the U.K. who might have some perspective, do the other figures cost twice the amount as the doctor? |

Indeed, the ad only reflects what's in the shops right now. There's lots more great stuff to come!

All of the single 5" figures have the same UK retail price of £6.99. Any price variations elsewhere would be do to other reasons. It could be that they're charging more for the figures they receive fewer of in each case.
For those in Canada...we should start seeing some of these items on store shelves in Canada over the summer in advance of series two on CBC. The plan for the distributors here is to have merchandise available through mainstream stores and not just specialty shops.

I guess you could PayPal the money to somebody in the UK and they could get them and then post them to you (being sure to write 'gift' on the customs declaration)? |

Watching that ad makes me want to buy action figures again. I do have a K9 figure somehere in my house. Really makes me want to find it again.

That commercial was fantastic! And the peacenik in me really got a kick out of him protecting himself with The SONIC SCREWDRIVER! No blasty-gun things here, oh no! A deliciously vague blue-light noise-emitting sonic screwdriver |

Man, they just don't make enough commercials like that anymore.
That was fantastic. Very mid 80's slant with the feel. Makes me harken back to ads for "Masters of the Universe" and "The Real Ghostbusters" from my childhood.
Splendid! |
