I might bite the bullet and ask my gran if I can ask her to pick them up for me on the High Street in the town she lives in in Scotland. I'm sure they must have it in WH Smith's or Woolworth's.

WH Smith's is your best bet. Woolworth's are in the middle of their summer range so the magazine selection has been scaled down and is very poor to say the least! As WH Smith's is a newsagent they are the best bet to have it. you could also ask your Gran to get them to reserve a copy for her each fortnight so she'll definitely get one.

Ah, good to know. WH Smith has aken over John Menzies' shops in Scotland now, right?

Also got issue #6 in the mail from WHO NA yesterday. I am impressed that it only took 4 days to Canada and my son was even more thrilled to have a second issue.

Yep. WhoNA is quick on delivery of those. I just got #8 with the quiz book, and my daughter is quite thrilled.

One solid hope is worth a cartload of uncertainties.

WHONA sent me DWA #10 this past week. I ordered because of the Inflatable Dalek. My 2 year old daughter loves daleks (well, the concept anyway, she gets a little too scared to actually watch them). The Podshockers were kind enough to broadcast her doing her imitation of a dalek a couple of shows back. I'm posting photos of her with the inflatable dalek on her blog (link in my profile) if anyone's that interested in seeing the size of the dalek relative to a two year old.

Anyway, this is the first DWA magazine I've gotten and it's an entertaining little thing. Great pictures. And my daughter immediately took to the imflatable dalek. She also loved the mulitple cyberman photos inside the magazine. She did not want to see the picture of the beast, however, too scary, so I'm having to disable that page.

WHONA also sent me the dvd of Inferno, and I can't wait to start watching.

Hope all you US based folks have a lovely Labor Day weekend! (And I hope all non-US based folks just have a lovely weekend in general.)
