My Character Options TARDIS Playset arrived today from the UK. For the scope of the toy it is quite detailed, and quite involved to assemble. But the results are worth it. Pictures should make it to the media gallery once they get approved.

Taras, it seems that you're not the only one to recieve a large (ahem) package.
Our Slitheen friend has been given a very generous 'extra'.
Do you reckon it's just a Slitheen family trait? or do all Raxacoricofallapatorians have the same?
And does Blon Fel Fotch have one too?! |

WhoNA has gotten a new batch of these. They went fast last time, but at a cheaper price, I expect them to go faster this time.

Sigh. I ordered one from my comic book shop back in November and it still hasn't arrived.
I'll check this weekend, but if they don't have it, I'll have to pay the extra (it was only $40 or $50 from the Comic Book Shop, though I have no idea how considering that's about half of what it's going for in the UK) to get one.

OMG!
Mine arrived today from WHONA!
This thing is amazing! It reminds me of my childhood assembling the cardboard Marx Johnny West Ranch!
This thing is incredible! It isn't the easiest thing to assemble, but when it's together it looks amazing!
Each of the six panels has its own button, each of which makes TWO different sounds, some of which make the time rotor oscillate up and down.
One panel pops open (and makes a noise while it does it). It comes with the two hammers, the car seat, the coat rack!
I have to say I'm incredibly impressed.
The only thing I'm confused about is whether the tabs of the cardboard wall go inside or outside. Inside and it's unsightly from the inside, and outside, it's unsightly from the outside but looks good inside.
Either way, this thing is probably the nicest playset I've seen since the Simpson Springfield Town Center, and in fact, this far far suprpasses that.
Sean.

Sean,
I found some pictures that can be printed out on heavy stock for some additional wall panels. I'll have to find the links, or send you the files when I find them...
I put the tabs on the outside.
Enjoy your 60 cm of Who fun!

Yeah, I found them on the GallifreyOne website. Printing them now. Darn, I wish I had kept the tabs on the outside. I think I'll reverse 'em now.
I liked some of the cutomizations on the Outpost Gallifrey forum. The metal door grid pieces were quite nice. I may have to go that way.

Really good pictures tarashnat; I've thought about this so many times and I've always decided against it - thats making me start to change my mind. The reviews of it on Amazon UK were postitively scathing.
I've got a really nice shelf unit which I've painted Tardis blue and put on the wall, and it's perfect for all my Who figures (although The Empress is too big for it).
& I'm well happy today because I've just put my 5" Ood on there!! I was quite surprised when I saw it in the shop!! Nice.

& I've just noticed that there's an extra room expansion set to the Tardis playset to be released soon.
I think the combination of that and the pictures have convinced me.... |

True enough. But I only have so many words. Some reviews make me struggle to have enough to say. Some items are just so fantastic I can't shut up about them. This was a case where I ran out of word count long before I was finished gushing about the item.
I really did agonize about mentioning the mallets.
By the way, what's this about an expansion room? What is it, and where can I read about it/see pictures?
