That's not so good. I guess that's one of the really good things about being where I am, I've got access to so many high street stores that sell Dr Who, not too mention I'm in Forbidden Planet about once a week. I just had a look at WhoNA and they've got some good stuff, but some stuff isn't there.

Without trying to rub it in, the Cyberleader on the throne is probably my favourite piece. It's an awesome figure and well worth trying to get from Ebay or somewhere, it is pretty weighty though, so it might not be cheap to post across the water. It's also the most ridiculously packed toy I've encountered. I think it took me about 30 minutes to get that out of it's packaging, and a couple of the metal tabs they use were tucked right the way around his backseat piping - it was nonsense. Completely stupid.

Sorry if my praise of the thing has just made it worse.

WhoNa is actually quite good. The reason you don't see much there now is that he stocked up, and everything was sold. But with them you have to act fast. He only gets limited quantities in, depending on the item.

It was good to see him bring in hundreds of the 12" figures, rather than a dozen or so.

But all of the figures I have (well, almost all) I got from WhoNa not long after they got their stock in.

You have to act fast, but they send out notices whenever they stock up, so if you are on the mailing list, you generally have good luck.

One example was I saw they had a few dozen of the Auton pairs, so I waited (from work) until I got home for supper, and I logged on... all gone.

So I had to find a different store, which usually charges 30% more, but at least I was still able to get my Auton pair.

The problem with WhoNa is they often don't get a second run of the same item, but thankfully this time they did and I managed to nab my Genesis Ark set.

One solid hope is worth a cartload of uncertainties.

Better keep your eyes open over the next couple of weeks then guys, the next wave of figures are due out tomorrow (although different retailers always seem to give different dates for these things).
