| does anyone know where an American can find Doctor Who iron ons? The few t-shirts I have seen (outside of the lovely podshock shirts) are really overstated and garrish. I want something small and simple, like a simple logo of the title, or a small tardis. Any info would be great. |

That reminds me... I have a nice polo type of shirt with a small embroidered TARDIS on it... I can't recall where I got it from... it was some years ago (mid-to-late 90's)... I have to dig it up. It's real classy. Too bad I can't fit into now though...
No, I don't know of any iron-on of Doctor Who being sold at the moment anywhere.

| You can always buy iron on paper for a printer and print your own. Personally I can't remember the last time an iron on was actually sold. |

That's a good point. Though I never used them, I have seen these iron-on kits for printers.

Or you could just use Cafe Press or some other T-Shirt printing house, which just takes a computer graphic and puts it on a shirt.
I've used them, they're not bad.

I started messing with Cafe Press once, hoping to make a little shirt with Bonanza images on it for my one and a half year old daughter (what can I say, she loves Bonanza. She also loves Doctor Who, grabbing dvds off the shelf and bringing them to me and insisting we listen to the Who theme whenever we get in the car...but I digress).
Anyway, I loaded up a couple images but didn't order the shirt, and the next day got email saying they were licensed images and may violate the user agreement. Something liek that. So it didn't seem like they were going to accept and print the images.
Did you have a different experience? Were you able to get shirts with Doctor WHo images, for instance, printed on them through Cafe Press?
Curiously,

| that's why I haven't used cafe press. I have heard that they are very strict when it comes to liscensed images, and unless your image is very generic, it just isn't going to make it. |

The one shirt I made had a GI JOe Adventure Team logo on it, but as it's not a terribly well recognized logo, it didn't cause a stir of any kind.
I imagine it may indeed be different if you use something highly recognizable.

The polo type of shirt with a small embroidered TARDIS on it came from the Who Shop. It was there exclusive in the 90's. I have the black sweatshirt of the same design. |

Thanks Ken for the reminder. It is a great shirt. It is subtitle yet interesting. It is a kind of garment that when wearing it, only fellow Doctor Who fans would really recognize it.

I just checked the Who Shop web site, and it looks like they still offer it. £21.99 ($38.44) - ouch. But oddly the site does not list any shirt sizes... so you have no idea what size you are ordering. Hmm..

Anyway, I posted this just in case anyone's curiosity was peeked when I originally mentioned the shirt in my previous post.
Cheers,
