I think that www.torchwood.org.uk is going to be a website for the fictional organisation Torchwood similar to the Deffry Vale school website, or the UNIT website, and that bbc.co.uk/torchwood would be the actual BBC page on the TV series with news, images and the like, akin to bbc.co.uk/doctorwho.

Recently, the http://www.bbc.co.uk/torchwood was redirecting to that big red "Access Denied" text on black background, however now it has been updated!!
I'm about to have a look around.

Anyone else notice the message, "If you are outside the UK you will not be able to watch any of the video on bbc.co.uk/torchwood for rights reasons." ?? |
|
Did you say "74,384,338 to 1 against"? That's my lucky number!

Yeah I did, but I'm outside the UK, are you guys and gals in the UK getting this message?
Some certain items from the Spooks website, and the Doctor Who Attack of the Graske minisite game was not available outside the UK as well. The BBC said that as we don't pay the BBC license fee we can't access it. |

I just stumbled onto it by noticing a mini ad for it while reading the bbc.co.uk/lifeonmars site. I came here to post about it, and sure enough. Someone beat me to it.
I was reading the character bios, and I'm a little confused. The bio for Toshiko Sato says, "A caustic but brilliant computer expert, Tosh is rarely parted from her precious technology and is fiercely private about her life outside Torchwood."
In Aliens of London, I thought Sato was the medical examiner or something? Did she get bored and request a transfer to a different position like Hill Harper on CSI:NY? |

I'm going "Full Circle" and putting my avatar back to what it was when I first joined. :)

Yeah, you are correct about being the Medical Examiner. I guess we'll have to wait until the show starts as to how they explain it away, and that of Captain Jack's appearance at Torchwood also. |
