| The BBC have officially announced the SJS Spin-off series "Sarah Jane Adventures" not "Sarah Jane Investigates". It will be on CBBC (Children's BBC) and she has a 13 year old girl sidekick, not a shooty dog thing (boo). Details at the BBC Website |

Hmm, what should we make of the 13 year-old sidekick, I wonder? Will she be some streetwise young punk with a skateboard, or perhaps some misunderstood child prodigy with spectacles and an innate skill with computers? Thank goodness they have a child in it or else the kiddies in the audience would have no-one to relate to in the series and it would become as unpopular and misguided as the main Doctor Who series.
Thank goodness there are people in television today with the foresight to have use crime-fighting kids for the audience. I guess that's what made series such as "The Red Hand Gang" (which amusingly paraphrased the name of the terrorist group responsible for the beginning of World War One, which led to the deaths of millions of men, women and children on mainland Europe) the unmitigating dramatic successes it was. |

| Wouldn't it be great if she was helped out by the "Double Deckers". (Please ignore if you are not a thirty - fortysomething year old who grew up in the UK). Link here |

Did you say "74,384,338 to 1 against"? That's my lucky number!

Sorry about the bad URL.. Try again-
That's OK, the 30-somethings in the USA could substitute The Bloodhound Gang! |

| | Ahhh, but continue reading. The point isn't the 13-year-old sidekick. It's that the villain is Samantha Bond. An evil Moneypenny versus Sarah Jane Smith? Now that's genius casting! |

Hello. I've only just discovered this board, so apologies for the late post.
In case you haven't spotted this elsewhere, I've just published a video interview with Elisabeth Sladen.
Lis talks about returning to Doctor Who in School Reunion... and looks ahead to the forthcoming Sarah Jane Adventures.

Hope you like it. |

While I remember The Bloodhound Gang, I was always partial to Whiz Kids . |

Hi Marty,
Welcome to the site. We are excited to have you on board. Unfortunately when I tried the link, it didn't work ... Perhaps it was moved or it is just a temporary glitch -- in which case, I will try again later.
Cheers,

The original link is missing a traling 'l' in it. I have fixed it in the quote... Louis, you can fix it in the original.
