It seemed hollow for me. Perhaps if there was some motivation explained on why the sleeper cell were here instead just merely wanting to "take over" or "launch an attack" or whatever the hastily stated in this story.

Seemed like some ingredients were missing in this meal.

    Cheers,
    Louis

I think I can answer that. It was quick, but if you looked carefully around the city during the city shots something unusual could be seen that explains the whole thing.

    Sean.

feeling thick... what am I looking for?

    the gafiti in the doorway?

I was curious if the grafitti was some tpye of thread. In the first episode when the old lady is talking about bloody Torchwood there is some grafitti on the pole next to her and then when the team are investigating the guy Captain Jon killed there is grafitti there was well that looks similar.

Just saw this and it didn't go the way I thought it would...but is that good or not? I sort of liked it at times but TORCHWOOD and this ep in particular is like...looking into a gutter. DW and its spinoffs for me should be looking skyward. I don't know who..Ray Harryhausen I think, stated that the movies and tv should be looking heavenward but instead they look downward into the gutter...TW is like that, more like falling into a sewer. I mean do we really need to see or hear a baby carriage being hit by a car? Do we need to see man killed infront of his family and then have the mother slain too? Were the kids killed as well? Really, TW is just...gross to me. I hoped it would get better and sometimes it hits high notes but for the most part, it really reeks like an overflowing sewer...

If ever you've watched a film or TV where the hero ultimately had to kill the baddies to end the conflict - they (the writers) - you will know, always have to show the baddies doing dispicable things to made it (quote) justifiable (un quote)

But yes - Torchwood is NOT Doctor Who.
