[Quote by: sgb1975] I have no interest in watching Sarah Jane Adventures, and no interest to watch this...we're turning into Star Trek with all these spin-offs.
don't say that - I actually liked one of the spin-offs WAY better than the original and I don't see that ever happening here.
I think it looks suitable and somewhat great and doesn't one of the kids look just like a young Tom Baker? I hope it's not at all like the Earth in danger every week and I hoe it is like going off to other places and times instead.
Well, that's . . . unexpected. I thought the series was going to be primarily CGI and set in the future, rather than, essentially, another version of SJA.

I should've been clearer. I liked TNG, much as I like Torchwood...but SJA and now this...ugh. In all fairness I've never seen SJA, but just based on those trailers, and now this one, I really have no desire whatsoever to watch either.

Well, I don't think this will be classed as a DW spinoff by any reasonable viewer. I doubt there'll be even a whiff of narrative commonality with the K9(s) of the Doctor's acquaintance. They didn't do a visual redesign on the character, after all, just to give the art department something to do; they weren't allowed to make this K9 look like his predecessors.

I don't know. I found STAR TREK NEXT GENERATION to be okay for most of the run with some exceptions but may many boring episodes and some that were just awful esp seasons 6-7 and that end story was junk. DEEP SLEEP MINE, I tried to like, I really did and gave it two and a half years and gave up, I hate the charactedrs in that and the arcs with Cardassans and those other aliens who wre ear rings, so unmemorable...yauwck. I liked the first few years of VOYAGER but then SEVEN OF NINE came and Kess left...and he stories degenerated. Awful characte, awful repetitive plots and lots of time mixups over and over again. Just terrible. I watched two eps of ENTERPRIZE and wasn't willin to waste my time on a show that clearly was not able to delever what it's ideas were: a show that took place, supposdly, befosre the oriinal Trek. Beyond that, the stories sucked to high heaven. I caught a few of tahe last season on Sci Fi and it looked as if it got a bit better but after so many spin offs that had many, many sucky eps, I wasn' t willing to give any more to STAR TREK.
While on teh tpic, I loved most of the movies but hated how they kiled off Picards's whole family. WTF?
Two minutes that felt like thirty minutes. Goodness knows how long an actual episode will seem to drag on for.
Looks absolutely terrible and will definately not be keeping my eyes on the TV listings for this.
Don't know why they even bothered making it a DR Who tie-in. It isn't even as if the dog looks that much like K9 and I can't imagine any DR Who fans actually watching this.
Even my 6 year old son was watching it in disbelief!!!
