I'm watching the horns of nimon. I like the phrase the gaurd keeps using: "Weakling scum"!
If I am ever a manager I want to periodically walk into where my employees are and say "Weakling scum!" and leave, like he does. |

ha! Memories! back in college, I was in a sorority and had the job of pledge master one year. I loved calling the girls "Weakling Scum!" during some of the events (no, we didn't haze -- really, it was against the law, but that didn't mean we had to be nice to them either!). One of the girls asked me to stop calling them Weakling Scum, anything but. I replied that if one of them could tell me what show I got the phrase from I'd stop using it; assuming, of course, that most girls didn't watch DW, and certainly not those of us who joined sororities (I'm just an aberration). The same girl who asked me not to call her that not only told me it was Doctor Who, but she named the episode. She's still one of my very best friends from sorority days. And yes, I stopped calling them Weakling Scum.
Good times!

I loved this story.
As some of you know I am watching all of the Doctor Whos from the start up - spoiler free (well except the new series).
I just got into the 18th season and John Nathan Turner seemed to say that "Horns" was what was all wrong with Doctor Who, so he made changes.
I guess, like the fans back in 1980, Im a little put off by the changes and the new title theme.
But Im sure I'll get used to it. I hear there is some great stuff coming up, but don't tell me. --Billy |
