It is at the top of the page... hit by the deleted unrelated threads bug that puts posts at the top of a thread... |

Okay. I'll try again. Regarding crying during Doctor Who.
I cried like a schoolgirl during utopia. When he started realizing who he was and it was clear he was the Master I got chills then tears started rolling. When I tried to explain to my wife (who was in another room) I couldn't, I was so choked up. I think the whole episode just tapped straight into my brain stem, unlocking my childhood experiences of watching Pertwee so many years ago. I wouldn't trade that Utopia viewing experience for anything. Even if everyone starts pointing and laughing at me... |

I don't know what possessed me today but I got it into my head to do an audio commentary about the Key to Time box set.
I don't know who else to thrust this upon but why not all of you. It's about seven minutes, no swearing, and my *cough* possibly (maybe/probably not very) amusing insights *cough cough* hehe

Sorry can't seem to follow the link. Would love to hear it as myself and my daughet are currently up to The Power of Kroll.
Can you believe that it's the first time I've seen these stories since I was ten years old. I'm absolutely loving them, even the ones I though that I wouldn't (Androids of tara - what a fab sword fight at the end!) |

so my link doesn't work? that's weird, I tested it on my friends before I thought I'd subject the rest of you to it... I tried it just now and it worked - it's on my blog, too (which there's a link to via my forum profile ) I wonder if that doesn't work either....

*cough* I should warn potential listeners that if you are easily annoyed by people continually calling things the wrong name (i.e. me referring to each segment as the "key to time") you might be...well.. yes, annoyed. |

Thanks - this is why I shouldn't even attempt such things. Stupid technical difficulties!
I wonder if this works |

Thanks! Now I never have to watch the Key to Time, thus abating my fear of cold sores. I can be content with only having seen Androids of Tara and Power of Kroll. (Dirty swampies!) And, of course, having read Sean Huxter's most excellent sequel (which is sadly lacking in swampies, if I remember correctly).
And what will you tackle next, Ms. Magpie? |

Poor Swampies
Actually I hadn't thought about doing another one - but I could - don't know what I'd do next, though. Maybe Snakedance? Or Nightmare of Eden? Both close to my heart and neither of which have I seen in quite a while. Which would make for all the more amusing mix-ups and vagueness in my plot descriptions perhaps hehe |

| I reckon that the less familiar you are with the plot, the more entertaining the commentary will be... |

Listenning to you now - great voice!
About Tom - he had been bitten by a dog - that's why he had that mark on his lip.
