I'm a little surprised by this spread myself. There's no way "Twin Dilemma" is worse than the worst parts of the Trial of a Time Lord, like "The Ultimate Foe". I tend to rate "Mark of the Rani" as the best of the lot, if only cause it feels like a traditional 70s piece of Who. To me, "The Two Doctors" is way lower on the list; a switch of "Rani" and "Two" would probably make some sense to me. "Revelation", just like McCoy's "Remembrance" is another of those "too-high-fliers". "Varos" and "Mysterious" deserve higher regard for being at least original.

Then again, as soon as I start to care about the ranking of this list, I realize just how awful all the stories really are.

Again, like the McCoy era it's mainly about which serials are 'less bad' than serials I particularly like, although Revelation of the Daleks is the easily my pick of the bunch even with the odious presence of Alexei Sayle (someone I've never even slightly liked either in Revelation, as a stand up, or in the The Young Ones).

I must admit I'm surprised at how highly The Two Doctors is rated.
I think that it largely wastes Patrick Troughton's talent, has weak villains with worse Sontaran costumes than the previous stories, a preposterous setting (clearly picked as a nice place for cast and crew to have a trip), and is way too long.
It's easily the weakest of the multi-doctor serials for me so I'll now be expecting very strong showings for the Three and Five Doctors when we get on to those lists.
Having said all that it's still one of my top 4 stories in the Colin Baker era.Mr. Green

As for the rest I like Venegenace on Varos, parts of Mark of the Rani and can do without the remainder.
