Marc Warren - much beloved for his performance as Elton in everyone's *cough* favorite Doctor Who episode "Love and Monsters" returns to screens - this time playing Dracula on December 28th, BBC1 at 9pm!!
("bitey" - that's a Penelope "Harriet Jones" Wilton reference for all of you who liked Shaun of the Dead)
As I always seem to be one step behind everybody else, massive apologies for what may be a redundant post! But knowing how much everybody adored Love and Monsters I couldn't resist |

If Worzel Gummidge and the Third Doctor had a fist fight - who would win?

Yes, he was also in the Sky One version of Terry Pratchett's The Hogfather, which aired earlier this week in the UK. He played the psychopathic assassin Teatime and seemed to pretty much nail the character. For anyone familiar with Pratchett's work I thought this was a pretty good adaptation and certainly worth checking out if you are a fan.

Playing Dracula, huh? So, I guess once again his character will suck... but this time in a different way.
(Hiding under the desk... No offense meant to those that love the L&M episode)

| Love and Monsters might split the fans but surely we can all agree Elton was acted very, very well. |

Agreed. I have no problems with the actor and/or his performance... It's the character itself that I may have issues with, but I don't blame the actor for that.
