Just a quick heads up to our listeners that due to time constraints caused by having to put in extra work hours ( ) over the weekend, episode 69 is going to be a bit delayed, I am sorry to say. Hopefully, not too much though. I am hoping it will be out sometime during the week, with episode 70 following in its heels next weekend.
Thanks for understanding.
Cheers,
Louis |

Thanks for the update. And, out of curiosity, what do you do at your day job?
Again, thank you for all your hard work in putting the podcast together. |

I'm sure there are those of his co-workers that may refer to him as superhero by day as well... Louis doesn't need a secret identity! |

Although it has never been isolated to just "day" hours, I know what you mean.
Basically, I work on staff for a non-profit agency coordinating their media art which translates to being the webmaster, graphic designer, photographer, videographer, creating enewsletters, printed material, promotional and event movies & DVDs, etc., etc., in addition to doing IT work for them as well. But since it is a non-profit organization, it holds regular fundraising events which are almost always on weekends which the staff are required to attend and I am there documenting the event as well. As the organization grows, these events are becoming more frequent and the lead-up time for them are getting shorter which means more work compressed in shorter amounts of time to prepare for them. So, it consumes far more time than I would prefer or like.
This weekend was one of those events... as well as just two weeks ago on the same weekend as Gallifrey 2007. Sigh.
Cheers,

I think we all appreciate the amount of work you put into the podcast Louis and I for one will be very grateful when it appears.
You have to keep on top of it when the new series starts though!! :-) |

P.S. It is of course possible that this message is a trap. If it is I can deal with it. P.P.S. I'm leaving this note in case I can't!

Louis, you and the other lads are worth waiting for, you gorgeous bastards (yeah, it was me who called about growing TARDISes)! Plus, I have the unfair advantage of coming in at Podshock 64 or so- I'm still catching up, playing 10-20 on my iPAQ and 30+ on my PSP. All worthy distractions until the next new Podshock materialises. And new Big Finish audios. I am caught up on them. crap... |

Louis - I've got a flight to Boston on Wednesday. Do you think you could make this episode 2 hours and 37 minutes? That's the approximate time the flight takes from the moment the attendants let us turn on our electric equipment until they make us turn it off.
You would certainly be doing me a solid if you could make this episode SUPER long! |

If it is Wednesday of next week (not today), then you should have two new episodes by that time and together it should cover your flight.

| I'm now saving episode 70 for my next flight - but #69 did a great job (as I swear we just had the quickest flight on record from Minneapolis to Boston -- or that could have just been your podshock that made it go so quickly!) |
