| Great job so far, guys! A mere 6 votes have propelled us from the doldrums up into the top 15 of all TV/Film Podcasts. Let's try to break into the top 10 over the next few days and stay there all month long! As of right now, the top 10 is only 5 votes away. |

By way of a progress report:
Over the last five days, we briefly jumped to number 8, but are now stalled at number 9, with the distance to the top 5 growing a big larger. Still, we only need 7 votes to get us to number 5. |

Just checked now and Podshock is still at No 9 BUT Podshock (MP3) version is at No 40!
So this 'split' due to listenners taking different (and voting for different)versions could be whats preventing Podshock taking the top slot.
I wonder if those people taking the MP3 version would be willing to vote for the enhanced version - or does the voting not work like that?

Yeah daveac, by having two different feeds, it does split the vote. Not only does it play a role on PodcastAlley, but on iTunes as well, and other sites that somehow rank podcasts.
We try to promote the one 'main' feed which has the Enhanced Podcast on it, the MP3 one we only did as a service for those who could not use the AAC files and didn't want to be bothered to convert the AAC files into MP3 files themselves.
