I think it depends on how long of a flight you're willing to take. Also, if you can fly a European airline or only a North American one. Is this making any sense? |

I'm going "Full Circle" and putting my avatar back to what it was when I first joined. :)

| Well, to be honest I'd prefer a North American carrier, but I can't be choosy. |

Why spend so much on a flight when you could import it from Amazon?

Many DVD players have a hackable region code, just google your make, model, and "region free". I found my upconverting Samsung DVD player had such a hack.

Mike, I dropped you a line to your work email address you use on DWIN's email list a few weeks back. Did you get it ok? |

Indeed they do - and I suspect from postings on various forums I frequent it's something we've lived with over this side of the pond for longer than you guys.
In fact when DVD players started to become more mainstream and affordable one of the 'must have' features for most people was multi-region as in a lot of instances it was much cheaper to import region 1 discs than buy the region 2 release - or it a title was released much earlier on region 1 or the region 1 release had much better features. |
